Title: Organic Agriculture in Europe: The Case of Germany
Abstract:
Organic farming is a sector of European agriculture which has seen a constant growth in recent years. This lecture comprises an outline of the history of organic farming, its fundamental principles and regulations within the European Union, the current status of organic agriculture in Europe with a focus on Germany and finally some examples from organic agriculture research.
