Title: The reason I dislike educational events
I’ve been with the current position for more than half a year and
coordinated several educational events. Yet, I dislike events. I am
talking about why then I still see values and opportunities in my job,
and what I hope to get out of these events. Also, challenges that I
face these days will be discussed.
Speaker: Dr. Junjiro Negishi (IFES-GCOE assistant professor)
Title: Integrated interdisciplinary approaches for sustainable
watershed management
The importance of managing natural resources by seeing watersheds as a
management unit is well recognized. I look back on projects that I
have been involved, and talk about how and why integrated
interdisciplinary approaches are of great importance in watershed
management practices and studies.
Presentation will be made in Japanese but questions and discussions in
English are more than welcome.
