Attend and present your research work for free at “AsiaFlux Workshop 2009”

The AsiaFlux Workshop 2009 will be held at Conference Hall in Hokkaido University from 27 to 29 in October 2009.  The workshop is organized by “AsiaFlux*1” to share recent research activities in flux research and related fields. AsiaFlux is a regional research network with mission to bring together scientists from universities and institutions in Asia to study the exchanges of carbon dioxide, water vapor, and energy between terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere across daily to inter-annual time scales. GCOE program ”Establishment of Center for Integrated Field Environment Sciences” supports this workshop and graduate students or unpaid researchers in Graduate School of Environmental Sciences & Division of Environmental Resources, Graduate School of Agriculture, Hokkaido University can attend and give presentations in the workshop with no charge.  Students & researchers who want to attend the workshop, must complete the online registration on the workshop web site by 28 August, and send the application form on the next page by e-mail or fax to the workshop secretariat office by 4 September.
