概要：地球圏科学特別講義Ⅲ（大気パート）として、ハワイ大学Yuqing Wang教授をお招きし、領域気候研究と力学的ダウンスケーリングについて講義をして戴く。講義では特に、気候のプロセス研究、季節予報の力学的ダウンスケーリング、気候の予測可能性、気候変動が領域気候や異常気象に与える影響に注目する。

履修登録をしていない方の聴講も歓迎する。

Contents:
Prof. Yuqing Wang at Hawaii University is invited to give this Special Lecture on Regional Climate Studies and Dynamical Downscaling. The lecture will introduce the basic concept of dynamical downscaling approach, its applications to regional climate studies, including the climate process studies, dynamical downscaling of seasonal predictions, climate predictability studies, and assessment of impact climate change on regional climate and extreme climate events.
Post-docs and students who did not register are also welcomed.
