Available position: Associate Professor, full time (Tenured)

Group of Biogeosystem Science, Section of Earth System Science, Faculty of Environmental Earth Science.

Research field:

Paleoenvironmental science. We seek a candidate who will reconstruct past environmental changes through a combination of sediment core analysis and in-situ observation, conduct research from the perspective of geochemical cycles, and be enthusiastic about graduate education in earth and environmental sciences (paleoclimatology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, and isotope geochemistry).

Education in charge:

Course in Biogeochemistry, Division of Earth System Science, Graduate School of Environmental Science.

Qualifications:

The applicant must have a doctoral degree. The candidate is expected to have a remarkable achievement in the related research field and be able to contribute to education and research for students in the above education course.

Probationary period: 3 months.

Working hours:

The discretionary working system in the type of professional work. The working hours for a day are deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes.

Salary and allowances:

Compensation based on the employment regulations of Hokkaido University.

Social insurance:
