Faculty of Environmental Earth Science, Hokkaido University invites applications for the academic position of professor.

Research field:
Meteorology. We are seeking a candidate who will conduct the research mainly in the field of meteorology with a global-scale perspective.

Education in charge:
Course in Atmosphere-Ocean and Climate Dynamics, Division of Earth System Science, Graduate School of Environmental Science.

Qualifications:
The applicant must have a doctoral degree. The candidate is expected to have a remarkable achievement and leadership in the related research field, and to lead education and research for students in the education course.

Probationary period: 3 months

Working hours:
Discretionary working system in the type of professional work. The successful candidate will be deemed to have worked for 7 hours 45 minutes per working day.

Salary and allowances:
Compensation based on the employment regulations of Hokkaido University

- to pursue research on the elucidation of ecological phenomena in aquatic ecosystems and biodiversity conservation through fieldwork as the main research method
