The winter period determines the physical framework for organisms, both in winter and during the following summer. Arctic terrestrial plant and soil ecology has traditionally been carried out in summertime, when the snow has melted and the organisms are more easily accessible. However, arctic ecosystems are no longer considered dormant during winter. Recent studies show that winter ecosystem respiration is an important contributor to the annual CO2 flux in the Arctic, and that changes in snowfall as well as temperature in winter can contribute to positive feedback of rising CO2 concentrations. This paper will review recent studies of arctic terrestrial ecosystems during winter, with specific emphasis on plant and soil responses to changes in winter climate.

2010年12月10日（金）１４：００〜１６：００ 場所：地球環境 D-201 演題：On going Arctic Ecosystem research under global change 講演者：Elisabet […]

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[24

post-523","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-old-news","ja
"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":
["GET
