Japan Mongolia Environmental Sonin (Newspaper)

1st issue of "Japan Mongolia Environmental Sonin (Newspaper)" has been published.

　We have started the new project “Japan Mongolia Environmental Synergy” that is aimed to the impact of synergy by the international cooperation between Japan and Mongolia, for global environmental field such as environmental change by climate change and environmental load by human activities. We, Global Center of Excellent (GCOE) Program of Hokkaido University; Establishment of Center for Integrated Environmental Science (IFES), Mongol Eco Forum, and research and educational institutes in Mongolia, will cooperate on this
project.In this project, we will publish this news paper “Japan Mongolia Environmental Sonin (Newspaper)”, and hold the round table discussion “Japan Mongolia Environmental Oasis” and the symposium “Japan Mongolia Environmental Day”. We expect that Japan and Mongolia enhance our friendship not only for the culture but also natural environment. This newspaper is the first step for this purpose. We learn from each other by exchanging the environmental knowledge through this newspaper. Consequently, we believe that Japan and Mongolia can become a partner for the environmental activities.
