Conclusion of an interdepartmental exchange agreement with Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UC San Diego

The Graduate School of Environmental Science and the Faculty of Environmental Earth Science have been promoting interdepartmental exchange agreements for broad research and educational collaboration and exchange with outstanding universities and institutes overseas.

We concluded an agreement with Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego (SIO-UCSD), along with the Faculty of Science, the Graduate School of Science, and the Institute of Low Temperature Science of Hokkaido University on March 17, 2016. SIO-UCSD is one of the world’s most famous institutes, which conducts a variety of cutting-edge research related to the ocean, atmosphere, and climate.
