The 12th Native Country’s Introduction-Japan-

2011-08-29

Dear All persons concerned

We are pleased to inform you of the following event.

Prof. Masahiko FUJII who visited all of 47 prefectures
in Japan will introduce a fascinating country, Japan.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Date: September 14 (Wed) 5:00 p.m.〜6:00p.m.
Place: Graduate School of Environmental Science D-Blg. 103
Speaker: Prof. Masahiko FUJII
CoLanguage: English (Japanese)
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

There are so many publications that mention about the Japan and people.
However, some of them written by Japanese authors seem too introverted
and those written by foreign writers are often very imprecise. In this
talk, based on my own experiences to visit all of 47 prefectures in
Japan at least three times, I would like to provide a subjective
introduction of Japanese nature, culture and history, especially
focusing on the high diversity.

Hoping to see you there.
