GCOE Seminar (Dr. Tomonori Sato)

GCOE seminar will be held on 29 July 2009 at room C202 (13:00-14:30PM),
Graduate School of Environmental Earth Science
Speaker: Dr. Tomonori Sato (IFES-GCOE assistant professor)
Regional climate modeling study is briefly introduced focusing on water
cycle in Northeast Asia and regional projection of the global warming.
Topics also extend to some latest works ongoing by the speaker, such as
estimation of precipitation source over Mongolia and
dynamical/stochastic method for typhoon prediction as examples of the
model application. Presentation will be made in Japanese but questions
and discussions in English are more than welcome.
