Call for Applications for Filed Short Course in Indonesia 2011 (8 – 19 November, 2011)

The Global COE Program "Establishment of Center for Integrated Field Environmental Science" (Hokkaido University) will hold IFES-GCOE Field Short Course 2011. We look forward to your application.

Theme: "Management Strategy of Tropical Peatland: Development and Conservation"
Period: October 4, 2011 (Tuesday) – October 15, 2011 (Saturday)
　　　 November 8, 2011 (Tuesday) – November 19, 2011 (Saturday)
Place: Indonesia (Bogor and tropical peatland areas in Indonesia)
Target participants: Graduate students & post-doc researchers (30 persons at maximum)
Participation fee: Free (travel expenses & accommodation will be supported under specific conditions)
Application acceptance: From January, 2011
Application deadline: 31st March, 2011 (additional call for application is scheduled after April, 2011 for new students; further notice will be announced)
