Recruit for JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (Global COE Program)
We are pleased to announce that we are able to recommend 1 candidate from our GCOE Program to JSPS.
Applicant eligibility:
Those who will be Doctor 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade at the point of 1st April, 2012. The applicant’s age should be less than 34 yeas old.
Required documents:
We are afraid there is only Japanese web page. However, English description is acceptable.
Get application form and guideline from below, then consult with your professor.
Application Procedure & Deadline:
- Send by email with attached file of application form by 23:59, 8th December (Japan Standard Time: JST). Use the following title [JSPS-DC Recruitment] when you send application form. Printed application form in black & white by GCOE Unit will be used for screening.
- Hand in another printed application form directly to GCOE Unit to avoid mailing trouble.
- In case you do not receive confirmation email by 14:00, 9th December 2011, contact to GCOE Unit as soon as possible.
Notification of Selection Result:
Notification of result will be made via email by 19th December 2011.
Other information:
- The research topic of “Environmental Science (Earth Science, Ecological Science, Material Science etc.)” is very welcome to apply.
- English application form is not available. However, description in English is acceptable.
- Apply from overseas student is welcome.
- The finalist of this selection needs to submit detailed application form until early January, 2012.
- There is a case that the finalist needs to change his/her supervisor. Ask for the details.
- The employment period is from 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2013.
- The person who employed for this position can NOT apply for any further “JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists” during Doctor course student. However, you can apply after you get Ph. D for “JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists” for “Postdoc”.
Amount of Grant:
200,000 yen per month (prearranged) as a Research Scholarship.
Also the selected student is eligible to apply for Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research by JSPS.
