Program for establishing "Integrated field environmental science"

The main objective of our Global COE (Center of Excellence) program is to establish "Integrated field environmental science (IFES)" which is an interdisciplinary science field contributing Earth System Science (EES). One of the important purposes of our COE activities is to foster researchers, who would be able to pioneer one's multiple career passes not only in the academic field but also public fields for the environmental policy, educational institutes, and general business corporations, for contributing to Earth System Science. This program is funded by Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
